The Pacific
Still find myself dreaming, blissful ideas of you
I wrote you a letter, where all of my dreams come true
Roses are red and I'm lost in the blue
Imagination in vivid colors with you
We're loving in vibrant, passionate hues
No greater feeling, when you feel it, too
Life in a canvas, with blessings anew
Happy accidents, we'll see it through
Roses ahead and back into bloom
Summers in autumn, winters in June
Spring time come calling, then Printemps adieu
Light candelabras, for vision at noon
Out of position, I feel askew
Only a minute, since I last saw you
Horizons vibrating, endless illume
Breathless and waiting, till dawn brings the dew
Roses in black, brown, and all shades of beaut
Roses pretend and devolve all real truth
Roses submerged in, indulgence too soon
Roses emerging, from concrete bring proof
Roses now lost and forever aloof
Roses throw anger misdirected to whom
Roses are silent avoiding bad news
Roses return but disturbed at the root
I'd try again to build sand castles with you
